Bally Bead Jewelry Making Classes

Classes are offered by appointment only on Wednesday or Saturday morning, from 10am - Noon. We must have 2 people registered for class for it to be held. If there are not 2 people registered for the class 24 hours in advance, the class will be cancelled and we'll call you to reschedule to another date.

Each class is 2 hours in length, starting promptly at 10am. Minimum age is 14. When you book your class, please tell us if you want the rosary option - we do not teach both options in the same class time. If you wear reading glasses, please be sure to bring them as we use some very small parts.

Payment: 50% down required to hold your seat. Pay in person (cash, check, credit card) or by phone (credit card only). Cancellation must be made 24 hours in advance. Those who no show will be issued a store credit, no cash refunds.

Class Special! Book 3 classes in advance and SAVE! $120 plus tax for 3 classes, not including tools. 50% down ($60 plus tax) is required at time of booking. Remaining balance due on first class date.

Beads, stringing materials, and instructions included in the cost of the class. You may bring jewelry tools you already own purchase tools prior to class. 3 in 1 tool or mini tools are not acceptable to use in class. Each student must have their own set of tools.

New! Personal consultation with our instructor / designer is now available (by appointment only). $40 per hour with a 1 hour minimum. Bring in a project you're having difficulty with or get some additional assistance with a technique. Please call for more details or to make an appointment.

Class 1 - Simple Bead Stringing $45 per person (not including tools)
Option A - 3 jewelry projects: You will learn how to crimp, tie a knot in Elastomer, and how to make a basic loop. You will leave class with a Soft Flex bracelet, a stretchy bracelet, and a pair of earrings.

Option B - Rosary: You will learn how to crimp Soft Flex beading wire to create a custom rosary. You will leave class with a completed rosary.

1 - PL1 (bending pliers) $14.00 each
1 - PL3 (chain nose pliers - smooth jaw) $12.00 each
1 - PL9 (crimp tool) $10.00 each
1 - Side Cutter (for use on SFW, Sterling or GF Wire) $21.00 each

Class 2 - Basic Wrapped Loops $45 per person (not including tools)
Option A - 3 jewelry projects: You will learn how to make a wrapped loop and then use the technique to create a pair of dangle earrings, a necklace or bracelet, and a pendant.

Option B - Rosary: You will begin your wrapped loop rosary in class and leave with enough beads to complete the project at home.

Class 3 - Knotting With Silk Thread $45 per person (not including tools)
Option A - 2 jewelry projects: You will learn how to knot between beads and then use that technique to create two bracelets during class.

Option B - Rosary: You will start your rosary in class and leave with enough beads to complete the project at home.

Class 4 - Earrings Galore $45 per person (not including tools)
You will make 4 different earring styles during class. Styles might include large link with dangles, bead wrapped link, chain and beads, mini chandelier, and corkscrew wire.

Prerequisite: You MUST already know how to make wrapped loops and simple loops. We will not be teaching these techniques during class.
